The temp was in the 70’s in NYC on 9/11. Guy is in a big jacket and beanie.

I could have saved you a bunch of trouble from debunking the photo by explaining directions

If I recall correctly, the sky was very blue and not a single cloud in the sky.

Definitely real, he was fired from the station previously and blamed his actions on retaliation for Dylan Roof. When police caught up to him he shot himself. Pretty sure I remember following this in real time on TD at the time.

Well, appears he actually was a photographer. Just not the glamour shot kind of photographer.

The most disturbing/destructive images photographed are usually the most beautiful and breathtaking...

That was 2015. Terrible. I remember that well and I too followed it on here. One of the more sickening stories I’ve ever see unfold on here. Senseless.

The Sknyliv air show disaster

quote:

The accident killed 77 people and injured 543, 100 of whom were hospitalised. It is the deadliest air show accident in history.

The aftermath video is gruesome as hell.

maybe 10 years ago in alaska, samantha koenig was working her late shift at her coffee shop job. guy comes through the drive thru, points a gun at her, hops through the window, and kidnaps her. he then holds her ransom. when he goes to prove shes alive/he actually has her he shows her family this photo

here is the fricked up thing. he raped and murdered her shortly after kidnapping her. she is dead in this photo. he sewed her eyes open

don't remember the specifics of this one but I know it's somewhat famous. I think the girl was kidnapped and killed and they found this picture on a camera

Does anyone know the story to that one? Jeez that’s a frightening photo.

If you're talking about the girl in the black dress with her hands up, then yeah, she was killed shortly after the photo.

Police caught the guy. Turns out he was a serial killer.

Wonder what happened to the pilot. You can see him standing detaching from his chute in the video. I can’t imagine the personal hell that dude went through knowing he killed all those people.

This is Ivan Milat, an Australian serial killer who murdered seven people (almost eight) between 1989 and 1993. He was known as the "Backpacker Killer."

Around 1991, for several months, my father-in-law worked with and carpooled with this guy.
