So if you take Diving out of the results (because Dave Geyer doesn't coach the diving team) the LSU Women's and Men's Swim team will be dead last in the SEC. The absolute worst sport on campus. It's a shame because there is quality kids and support locally for swimming. Change needs to happen.

There’s no need to update. Everyone knows it’s our worst sport in the entire AD by far with little chance of being competitive

Does LSU swimming have the worst facilities of all LSU sports?

Where have you been? LSU swimming under Gayer has been dead last in the SEC even with the help of the Diving Team’s multiple, yes multiple, Gold and Silver medal performance points at SEC’s.
Are you kidding me?
Gayer has patted himself on the back for a “school record” relay performance that actually came out last at the SEC meet. And the swimmers can’t stand the dude, well his distance swimmers like him. Word travels fast in the swim world.
We don’t have a facility problem, we have a leadership problem at LSU, in my opinion.

Who do they recruit? Seems like a way for anyone to be a D1 collegiate athlete.

I understand the program is trash, but we are ranked high in football and baseball, and basketball is starting to show signs of contention, Track and field is always relevant.

It’s hard to keep every sport relevant, and swimming is one of those

Wake up Woodward. You were hired to make the athletic department better. Look at Swimming coach Dave Geyer’s record. Once again the Men’s and Women’s swimming came out LAST at SEC. Both Men and Women’s team had THE Lowest points scored in last 10 Years. Don’t confuse diving points being calculated into team points. Geyer doesn’t even teach divers how to perform a cannonball! We read articles where we win in football and baseball and it’s says Champions, Again! And Again! Dave Geyer is either second to last or dead Last EVERY Year for 10 Years! I don’t want to hear an excuse about facilities. Yes, facilities suck. Get a coach that brings a winning attitude and facilities will follow! Ie see DD Breaux! Dave Geyer has zero excuses and people should not provide him with excuses. We are losing really good swim talent from Louisiana EVERY Year! Kids don’t like Geyer because he is a loser! He does ZERO to promote the sport in this State. Zero! These are facts! This is a great opportunity for LSU to go out and hire a new coach. It needs to be done now! Start from the bottom and build up! Could be a coaches dream job. First step in process is to Fire Geyer!
