Not to be an a-hole, but LSU does not even want to travel to a BCS school that seats like 35,000 fans, why would they want to head to AA school that seats 21,000, with 6,000 more squeezed on a hill when the hurricane won't hit on the day of the game or even the day after the game?

little bit different kind of circumstnaces. i doubt the staff or players would want to have to run the gauntlet like they had to in 05. our schedule is brutal enough, and losing a bye week because of this damn hurricane will make it worse. do i think we'll move the game? hell no...but i think if the situation continues on its present course that it might be the best thing to do.

a Cat 5 hurricane would be safer than going into the neighborhood Legion Field is in.

Boone's stadium is way to small. Moving it to Shreveport would be more likely. Playing it later would be the best idea so LSU won't lose that much money.

I don't want the game moved. I don't wanna hear the whining and bitching from Tiger fans when my boys come in and lay pipe to their team.

Just messing - I think it'll be a score of 28-17 in LSU's favor

the solution is to move N. Texas to November when the Tigers and N. Texas have an open date then move the App. St. game to fill in the N. Texas slot where App. St. has an open date. That works.

i don't know what that means in Western Carolina, but in these parts i think it means something different.

Think about that for a second or more. Hotel rooms in Shreveport are already sold out for the holiday weekend gamblers. Now, add the flow of evacuees looking for hotel rooms. Factor in flight schedules, canceled tickets, on and on and on.

The weather won't get here until Sunday at the earliest. MOST people at the game have a car or access to one

Yes this is a different circumstance but again the hurricane is two days away from the game. So it is not like the hurricane is close and endangering players or fans. It is an early game, moving it does not really make much sense. If it was hitting on Sunday, I understand, Monday, play the game.

You would be better off playing the game at gump stadium, since they will be getting waxed by clemson in Atlanta this weekend.

of course the game would never be moved to ASU but for the sake of enlightenment our stadium seated 16500 last year but average paid attendence surpassed 27000 maxing out at 28800 for our home opener. due to a $50 million dollar (not a lot for LSU but a fortune for ASU) facility enhancement we now seat 21000 so we could hold maybe 32000 or 33000

I think moving the game to ASU on Sunday night makes a lot of sense. I bet ASU could charge $80 for each ticket and still fit 30,000 plus in there. Donate half of every ticket to the relief efforts. Moving it to Sunday night buys everybody an extra day for logistics.

LSU keeps their schedule, gets a little road experience leading up to Auburn, and everybody is happy.
