I’ve done several plumbing jobs myself. Sure it takes me half a day but I’m SAVING money. Last time I called one it cost me $400 and he finally got it unclogged. Something I def tried to do? But couldn’t. Can I now? Probably so. I’d have to go another route than he did though. He struggled. Electrical work? If quote is cheap? I’ll have em do it. Changing electrical outlets? Piece of cake. Lights, fans. I do it myself and my old man is an electrician so if I need work done? He can help me. I used to dis plumbers. Now? I praise them. Crappy work? Sure! But they do good work if reputable. Thing is you’ll pay the piper.
