I love Trump. That said, what Cassidy voted for is simply saying you can't plead "not guilty" to vehicular homicide because you sold the car.
But it is a bit more like getting indicted for a felony two days before the Statute of Limitations runs. The State can still try you next month ... AFTER the SoL.
