Stingley to CB = Sage to S

Both are phenomenal at their positions. Sage will be an instant impact just like Stingley was his freshman year

Stingley, Ricks, Ward, Ryan for sure. Idk about 5th guy- Hampton and Harris need consideration bc of previous performances prior to last year with a good safeties coach, but Davis could creep in there.
Flott and Evans need to show me something in backup roles before I’d start them, but there’s a reason Daronte Jones is the DC and not me!

I’m not saying it’s impossible for Sage Ryan to be a day 1 starter. Just that it’s extremely rare for a true freshman who enrolls in the summer.

He may not be Day 1 enrolling in summer, but I bet he starts to push and get on the field a bunch coming out of the OOC cupcake games and is starting by the end of the bye week.

I didn’t see anyone in here mention Toles.
Is he buried in the depth chart or something?

It’s funny 247 listed him 6-3 190, but LSU has him 6-0 199.
Only recorded tackles against Vandy, Aub and A&M.

More than likely we will be running a 4-2-5 most of the time.
How is this news?

It’ll be hard to keep Sage and Davis off the field at some point.

I bet Davis is starting by the third game. Besides Smith, I think he is the top recruit in this class. Sage Ryan is great, too, but I don’t see him as a true safety - more of a nickle guy, punt returner and I’d like to see him at WR.

Your first 3 look good ,but Mo Hamp seems uninterested when I see him on the field . Mo Hamp also looks overweight for the position .... The tigers need speed ,length and vision at the safety position
