Clear Lake is a badass place to live and you could get a very nice place under 360K. Short commute off freeways to work.

As someone that lived in CL and now resides in Pearland/Friendswood area...that's helluva drive that I would not desire. Now I know nothing about the Mont Belvieu area, but there has to be something closer than Clear Lake.

You can get a very nice place in almost any HOuston suburb for less than $360k. I agree with the posters who say Kingwood, Atascosita, Seabrook, Kemah, Clear Lake.
Look really hard at what has flooded and normal street flooding as well. Look at traffic during rush hour.
