This isn’t a scheduled fight yet. Both lost to Usman. Masvidal didn’t have much time to his credit.
ETA: Poirier beat Hooker, Chandler beat Hooker. He shouldn’t be able to skip the line. Dustin knows he’s the top dog now. These guys don’t get paid well unless they get to top tier. Don’t blame him a bit for not immediately trying to fight a guy who has 1 win in the UFC(No knock on Chandler. I could see him holding the belt) against someone he beat himself already. Poirier vs Oliveira for the belt is best for the division. Let Chandler face Gaethje. Conor vs Tony, or Conor vs Nate, but I could see Nate waiting on that one. I don’t know. It’ll be fun to see how it shakes out, but I want to see Nate fighting ASAP. With him you have a good fight no matter what.

I would be more excited to see masvidal vs Conor than Covington.
