America is no more chosen by God than anyone else.
And yet there has been a significant percentage of the Republican Party leadership who have proclaimed the the USA is God’s instrument for good in the world.

They have used this interpretation as justification for expanding consumerism and exploitation of the earth’s resources and peoples towards expanding their power and wealth for their own imperialist ends. Almost exactly the opposite of “God’s plan”.

And the Democratic Party uses their demonization of these “Christian conservatives” for almost the identical goals.

I shudder to imagine what the realization of “God’s plan” will ultimately be once His real plan comes to fruition.

“America” or the “United States of America” is not mentioned in the Bible.

100% God has a plan for the US and it is a chosen instrument of His.

Now, getting realistic about how that plays out is the hard part.

If good people in the US allow evil to thrive and win, God's plan "appears" bad.

God works through man and nation. If people listen and do His bidding, it comes out good. If they turn from Him and do the other dudes bidding, it looks awesome in a fleshly sense, but sooner or later turns out bad.
