Schumann is known as "The Guru," for his strong knowledge on Xs and Os.

Schumann's dad is a former 20-year defensive coordinator veteran for various schools in the South.

quote:

O is not switching back to a base 3-4 defense

UGA runs plenty of 4-down fronts, trying to get Anderson and Nolan Smith 1-on-1 with tackles

quote:

This guy props to him but I don’t see it happening. He has never ran a defense on his own . We did not copy cat Georgia.

the offensive coordinator has never ran a defense on his own. With coaching veterans like Raymond and O himself around, this is a non-issue.

Young, qualified, good recruiter, and it will never happen. The reason Orgeron can't land a DC is because he's radioactive . It doesn't take long for the word to get out among coaches and agents. 2019 was an aberration, Orgeron had zero to do with the success of the program. He's a cheerleader, nothing more.

You really think our coach has 100% say in all this?

I see it...all he’s missing are some J’s with his suit on game day and he’s basically Joe Brady’s bigger brother.

Grain of salt amongst all of the other salt grains out there rn, AYS said on his podcast that there is “mutual interest” between Schumann and LSU. He was also I BELIEVE the first to report Freeman to LSU so yea there’s that. Also said “Schumann doesn’t want to be a Co-DC forever” which is a captain obvious statement. Hell, I’m just glad that there is mutual interest and it at least appears that O isn’t looking to get HBP with 2 strikes on him. GDT’s

He might be a great coach, but will his recruiting remain at a high level without the excessive UGA slimy recruiting tactics ?

Can’t say one way or the other. I’m sure he could be brought up to speed quickly on how things get done in BR though.

Schumann took a low rated RB/WR and turned him into a starting lb in the NFL. He would be a great hire for yall

I haven’t read every thing there is to read about Schumann no doubt, but I sincerely hope he’s our guy. Seems like he’s a football guy and an up and comer as they say. I’m in for Schumann.
