Think of it this way. Hypothetically, if the Chargers had Brandon Staley and Eric Bieniemy ranked dead even after conducting multiple interviews with each candidate, the deciding factor would probably be "if we hire Bieniemy, we're giving a division rival (KC) multiple comp picks over the next few drafts, so we're going with Staley".

The Falcons could have hired other candidates, they hired Fontenot knowing they were giving two picks to their hated rival.
I mean, this is a pretty damn good approval of the Saints organization.
