Hypothetical question. If a team took Ireland, and the Saints promoted Fontenot to GM to keep another team from taking him; do the Saints still get the comp picks for developing Fontenot?

Also, convenient timing for the Saints. Considering the cap ramification for '21 and potentially '22; they were probably going to be pretty quiet in the FA period; other than resigning, cutting & extensions.
