Around 98 I believe. I’m pretty sure my age group was the first one to have to wait until 16. It sucked.

We could get a permit at 14 and we also didn't have to go to these expensive driving schools. I took driver's Ed during the summer at school and it was taught by my PE coach.

The drinking age was changed from 18 to 21 right around my 18th birthday though and we didn't have Tops either.
