Cortana Mall opened August 1976. I thought it was a couple of years earlier. I went to the state fair there a couple of years when there was only dirt and no construction.
The Who concert that I saw at the PMAC was in the fall of 1975. It was packed, but the people were well behaved. I still have a Super 8 film of it. No sound and they only run about 4 minutes. The tapes are in my closet, but have not been viewed for least 40 years.
The Led Zep concert that I saw at the PMAC was spring of 1975. The Superdome concert in 1977 was cancelled due to the death of Robert Plant’s son. I still have two tickets for that at my parent’s house.
