1975. Two concerts at the PMAC. Missed it. “The Rolling Stones’ 1975 Tour: Baptized in Baton Rouge, Castrated in San Antone. RollingStone
Missed at the PMAC The Moody Blues, Emerson, Lake and Palmer and a lot more at that time.
Some 70’s concerts at the PMAC that I recall were Jethro Tull (Thick as a Brick), Neil Young/Linda Ronstadt (1973), Led Zepplin, The Who, etc.
Genesis (1977 or 1978?) at the River Center. Maybe others.
Most concerts that I saw were either in New Orleans at the Warehouse, City Park or the Municipal Auditorium. or Southeastern and La Tech.

Kiss, I think it was around '77. My mom and my neighbor's mom took about 6 of us 12 year olds to the concert. Some guy passed my mom a joint and she politely said no thank you. She was a true southern lady

That was a great article. Interesting that the Stones were rehearsing and playing in the PMAC yet staying at the Royal Orleans in the French Quarter. The Stones didn't play New Orleans until 1978, which I always found weird since they loved the city so much and mentioned it in songs.
I'd love to read about the Zeppelin show at the PMAC, as well.

Late 70's, I saw Journey at the Warehouse. It was an awesome venue, but HOT. It was the first time in my life that I had to pay for water. I was so fricking hot, I bought two at a time. Sitting up on the rafters above the floor, about 10 rows from the stage - best seats in the house!
