Monticello Christmas lights were the GOAT.

Christmas time was glorious for us neighborhood kids. Traffic to get to Cardigan Ave (every house on the street looked like Christmas Vacation) was backed up all the way down Greenwell Springs Rd. The main blvd was packed with people walking around. Everybody was happy and having a good time.

Can you imagine what that would be like if a BR neighborhood attempted something like that today.

Yeah that neighborhood was awesome around Christmas time. Hardly a house decorated now.
