Rules on drinking were WAYYYY more lax back then. I remember me and my buddies going to Sicily's Pizza, and ordering giant pepperoni's and endless pitchers of beer. No issues whatsoever.
And we were 15 years old.
But driving age was 15 then. Never checked ID's. Easiest way to drink without ID was pizza joints that served pitchers of beer.
