interesting quote from Tyson Jackson:

quote:

"Charles Scott is a big pounder. He's going to bruise your defense up. He's about 235 pounds, and he's going to run forward and through you. Keiland Williams is more of a finesse guy. He's going to dance around the field and make plays. Richard Murphy — that guy's a speedster. He reminds a lot of people of Reggie Bush, and he's going to make plays all over the field."

Consider the source. Until I hear different from Miles himself, I say KW lines up at TB snap one next Saturday.

Scott will be on the field more than the others. The dude likes to knock heads around and Les likes that. I like that too big Les .

Just b/c one guy starts doesn't mean anything. It will be the same as last year.

With just a week of practice before the 4 p.m. opener Saturday in Tiger Stadium, it is looking like tailback will be manned by Scott, the Tigers' most powerful runner who is similar to Alley Broussard before the knee injury.

They make this statement, but offer absolutely nothing back it up. There has been nothing to indicate who will be starting RB - last year Keiland ran 1st in all the camps, yet Hester started at played all year at RB. The glimpses the media sees is irrelevant.

I think Miles wants and thinks KW can be the man, but he doesn't like the way he runs...right or wrong. He's trying to 'man him up' and make him into the RB he wants him to be, again right or wrong.

Scott is the guy I wanted to start. I have no problem with this. I do want to see KW and Murphy get a lot of carries as well though.
