I’m not arguing $15 is the right number but do y’all think any form of minimum wage is in need of being eliminated?

It's out of touch in the vast majority of places where you don't need 2-3k per month to rent an apartment like New York, etc.

I think we should let the market dictate things. If no one wants to work for the wages a company is offering due to their skillset and better options, the company will either raise their wages to attract employees to meet their needs, change their business model or they will go out of business. If people are willing to work for what they are offering, that means people value and want what they are offering on some level. No one is forcing those people to apply to work there as there are other options out there.

We also have things in place like the Earned Income Tax Credit and things like that to help those making lower wages.
