Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t a coup, coup d'état, an attempted overthrow of a government? I mean I think the things that happened in the capitol building was an act of domestic terrorism, but at no point did anyone, or the military, move to seize power.

Additionally, considering conservatives have been targeted for a while now and also silenced, I’d say people’s fears aren’t based on false propaganda. And this isn’t a new phenomenon, otherwise conservatives being ambushed at California colleges wouldn’t have happened... and the mobs were organized by... wait for it... social media. But those attacks weren’t censored...
