If the parents agreed to that then shame on them.
Also, virtual learning for PK-2nd or 3rd is a waste of time. 1. Those kids SHOULD NOT be sitting in front of a screen for 5 hrs + a day. There are tons of studies detailing the dangerous effects of screen time on young kids’ brain development. 2. I just don’t see any scenario where a virtual teacher will be able to teach a child to read w/o extensive assistance from a parent or guardian. Being able to read at a competent level is paramount to excel in society. A couple of years of virtual learning could have devastating effects on society.
