I am going to miss the feeling of BR the night before the game. I just moved out to California in May, and have been around LSU's campus the last 9-10 years.

I worked in Johnston Hall as full time staff, so

-I would get to see the opposing team's busses roll into TS for a Friday walk-through.
-The crispness in the fall air.
-I love looking at Touchdown Village RV lot the night before the game, see the flags/smoke -Driving in front of the Stadium looking at the lights of the new West Upper Deck.
-Driving around Tigerland. Looking at the quad packed for Fall Fest, and seeing the freshmen/intl students being instant converts. -Going out to the Chimes with my buddies.
-Watching the field crew paint the eye/endzones on Tuesday/Wednesday before the 1st game.
-Hearing the Golden Band from Tigerland practicing by Kirby
-Car flags from both teams flying the night before.

All I have forward to now is looking at hippies in trees around Cal's stadium...and that's about it. I live in one of the most awesome cities in the U.S., but a fall Saturday in Baton Rouge is the best place in the world. Can't wait till I come back home for the Bama game.

I could get that feeling the Friday before the game on campus when going to and coming from class.
