5 members, 1 hardly hunts. 7 kids 600 acres. About 20 stands (bow hunting adults, mixed bow and gun for kids) All stand are club stands. We have a map and marker system but it doesn’t get used any more. We let the kids pick first. And the 3 or 4 adults, who may not be hunting with their kid, grab what is left. This is usually decided at supper the night before or breakfast the morning of.
Pay the extra money, have less members that have common goals and it eliminates a lot of bull shite. Let the killers be in there own club. Let the super smart, sneaky guys get their own place. Let the idiots hang out at the local gas station in their surplus Army clothes and Sitka gear and talk about hunting. You grab a few of your core fiends and kids, pay the extra money to have less of the other guys and enjoy every weekend.
