I have never seen anything about the capacity change from anything I have read over the past year. How much will this decrease capacity? I saw that they were exploring standing room only seats at the top ring of the dome endzones above the end zone terrace. I wonder if that makes up for it.

I have seen other renderings where it appears they chopped of the first five rows of the terrace. It could be an artists dream as I never have seen anything in print to back up what is in the rendering.

Sorry sir, your seat on row 3 in the end zone no longer exists, but we will make things right. We now have standing room only tickets at the edge of the roof to accommodate you."

I hate the trend of reducing capacity for gimmicks like SRO and corporate amenities all under the guise of “fan experience”.

I don’t know the exact number, but I’d bet the dome goes from 74k capacity to around 65k to make room for this bullshite.

That is what they did to the media in the previous renovation to add more suites.

Press box before 2010 was in the 300 or 400 level, it was a nice experience. There was a large conference room for the media to congregate and eat. I can remember a few times they even had an omelette station.

You could use alternative elevators to go from that level to the floor when it was near the end of the game when the press box elevator is held for coaching staff.

Then it moved to the 700 level. You are about even with the new screen. No more conference room. Food is served in a lunch line behind the main press seats. You eat at your seat. Elevator is now limited to one elevator to go to the new level.

I believe the TV broadcast booth is still on the lower level. Radio booths are upstairs.

Hopefully, they add more elevators to get to and from the 700 level in this renovation. Someone in the visiting media said that this is the only stadium in the NFL like this.
