I would say try it before you buy it if you can.

It makes many people physically uncomfortable to varying degrees, myself included. Even playing for a few minutes ruins my head, so it's basically a non starter for me.

I also don't know of anyone who plays VR games for hours at a time. It's got the same problem motion control games had to a degree. It's still much more a gimmick than serious gaming IMO but some people find it extremely cool. I think people do VR games more for the new experience than the games themselves being more fun.

I would say that this is spot on. I can only play for an hour max, and then usually need to sit down for a bit after. I don't typically get nauseous easily either.

You can play using the power of your PC, and get 90FPS on games. Look up virtual desktop, and the PC streamer. There is a whole tutorial. I connect over WiFi with a WiFi6 connection. I now only buy games on Steam, and use this method of connecting. It doesn't use any of the storage on your Oculus as well.
