re: Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (Natchitoches)

I had one friend that went there from our high school - she was really smart but not as smart as some of the other girls in our class - most of us lost touch with her the next year

I could’ve gone but was so socially inept that I didn’t want to live away from home

My daughter could’ve gone - but she didn’t want to live away from home either

Personally I don’t see the point when you can take college level classes at your high school or community college. The bigger cities in LA probably have comparable programs without the boarding.
