A&M too - that shitty looking win against LSU undoubtedly hurt them in the eyeball test with the selection committee.

What total BS. Some of you are ridiculous . We didnt knock them out of the playoffs. If they had beaten Bama and won the SEC they would have gone to the playoffs Now if that makes you happy in your make believe world good for you

Actually we knocked them out long before Bama did. They were still ranked pretty high. Had they pulled off the win against Bama and not lost to us, they would've been in. Even with a loss to Bama, the committee would have considered Florida over Ohio State. That LSU loss killed their chances.

It diminished their ONLY Top 25 win when we beat UF. Essentially it weakened their resume. Plus, if you don’t think that shitty game they played against LSU didn’t hurt them with the eye test, you’re wrong.
Let’s be real Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati were better than almost every team in the SEC. CC had 2 wins against Top 15 opponents.. they should be in. This is complete bullshite by that committee.

See that was my whole point. The OP literally says, "good season." Now, in an attempt to disagree with me, you actually disagree with the OP.
You people do realize that it is possible to both:
A- be happy that LSU ended the season with two wins
B- realize that this was not a great season.
