I literally would get up and make myself randomly busy for a few minutes (take a shite, or watch a YT video, or walk the dog, etc.) each drive that Spags' defense was on the field in order to miss the inevitable opponent score.
As historically bad as Bo was, ultimately the team still broke even in wins arguably because the defense somewhat tightened up/made plays.

Pelini by a mile. LSU ranked 124 out of 127 in total defense this year. Epic fail.

I say Pelini. It’s close, but Spags had horrendous talent when compared to Pelini. Neither job could be considered well done, but Pelini did less with more.
I don’t see how you can take perennial top 5 recruiting classes and come up with the worst defense in school history.
