Essentially the first RPG game I played was Skyrim. And that was a couple years after it’s release. It is one of my favorite games now, but I still struggle playing RPGs.
I was told Witcher was the bee’s knees. I picked it up after completing Horizon and found it virtually unplayable. Waited a year or two and tried it again and enjoyed it but still found myself wishing I was playing Skyrim a lot of the time.
I don’t see any possible way I enjoy this game unless I wait a year or more for them to fix it, despite the fact it looks/sounds very cool.

I love how MSGM reviewers will list like a dozen basic fundamental things wrong with a game that show a lack of effort on the part of a developer but will still excuse it saying they’ll fix those problems 6 months to a year later and give it a 9.5 out of 10 because “the staff worked so hard for so long”.

frick that, if you worked for 7 years on something the very least you can do is make sure the basic Tetris level shite in your game functions as intended.

I wish I could forget Skyrim and get another first time playthrough. I still play about 5 hours to 10 hours a month or so on my newest file, and it was just such a damn joy.
