A D for coaching and an A in recruiting, especially with all the chaos this year. To hold this class together and pick up some really good players also ( hopefully keep the committed players and gain 2-3 really good ones later ), that was/will be a great achievement.

I'd give him an I.
Most of us thought the Pelini hire was fine last winter. Linehart (sp) had pro background. Hind sight is 20/20. Who expected him to lose 30+ players from the 2019 team. Or his starting QB 3 games into the season. He had a seasoned back up, but, well you know the story. So he is left with two true freshmen. His fault?
I have also liked O's CEO style. Hire good people & let them do their jobs. Adjust as you see fit. That didn't work this year.
So I give him an I for 2020 & expect improvements for 2021. Yesterday was day 1. He did great. Staff adjustments going forward is step 2. Let's see what 2021 brings. He would be on a simple Pass/Fail. 9-3, 10-2 w/NY6 bowl is Pass in my book. But remember, he is not playing in the ACC or Big12.
