One team, one heartbeat is a two way street. The coach commits to you and you commit to the team. It does not mean if players quit on the team you have to keep coddling them indefinitely. In fact, I would argue keeping cancers in your locker room is a disservice to all the other players who have actually bought into a “one team” approach.
