Nothing against Louisiana, but if you are a guy like a Jordan why are you hunting Louisiana for deer? Are they local? It’s a damn fine buck don’t get me wrong, just seems like there’s better buck hunting elsewhere.

He's killed two bucks at Honey Brake in the last two seasons. Last year was a 150ish and this one is going to gross in the 180's. I would assume those guys have already hunted the midwest and tagged out.

With proper hunter management, parts of Louisiana are as good as anywhere in the South. The culture of killing every living thing is holding it back.

They literally hunt deer all over the country. Most follow the rut patterns and maximize their deer hunting season. Not sure on if this case was during the rut or not, but it's Honeybreak...

Ol boy killed a 180 class buck, that’s a damn good buck anywhere in the country That’s probably why he came to Louisiana
