Played at LSU in the early 90s. Was a fantastic recruiter for nick Saban until he got a two year show cause for impermissible contact with a recruit.
I don’t remember exactly what Davis did that broke the rules but I do remember that it wasn’t that big of a deal. What really got him the show cause was he lied about what happened when the NCAA started asking questions.
