They should have given the cruiserweights, lucha, and etc a separate show on Thursday. Pushed them hard

Eh, WWE actually did this recently and literally no one watches. And the Lucha and cruisers had almost as much to do with Nitros success as the nwo. They intentionally put them on at the end of the first hour because they knew people wouldn't flip over as Raw started because of how high energy they were. And the ratings reflected that.

Not to mention all the future stars that came from it like Jericho and Rey.

I feel like it would have worked back then and saved wcw. Back then, being the key.. Had Benoit, Jericho, Rey, Malenko, Guerrero, Japanese wrestlers and a lot of the "mid card" and even lower card guys that needed a shot at the time like Helms, Candido and talented guys we never saw..given their own platform, would have been a whole new kind of show. Vince would have had double the competition. 100% needed different creative writing it though. Keeping eric, hogan, nash and other short sighted
bookers away from it when it eventually and inevitably got more over than nitro. Especially if established guys from WWF would make their way there too. Like Xpac or Owen Hart.

Hell, it would have given nitro room to breathe and grow beyond world orders..IF, they had the brains to run a longterm successful wrestling organization.

Id have liked to have seen that show though, in the 90s. Ran by guys who gave a shite about the business.
