Any recruit that wants to come on this site, can read this thread and realize, that he can ask questions for his friend, who is a recruit, claiming not to be a recruit himself.

The point is in fact, that most of us are aware that we cannot pursue or recruit a potential recruit, but if one comes on this board, without declaring himself as such, and we happen to "talk" to him, how can that be a violation.

I think LSU did what they needed to do, and I think Chicken did what he needed to do, and I for one will avoid violating the guidelines, regardless of how unfair or stupid it is, due to the harm it could bring to my favorite team if I do. That being said, I will not be afraid of interacting on this board, out of fear that some poster may in fact be a potential recruit.

I just read Dandy Don's column and he talks about calling Reuben Randle. Isn't that a violation of this "policy"?
