Kiss, Dynasty tour, Centroplex, 1979.

Edited to add stupid trivia ... a band called New England was the opener that evening. Their drummer, Hirsch Gardner, later worked at Daddy's Junky Music in Boston in the 1990s into the 2000s. I used to buy gear from DJM by phone out of their mailer catalog (pre-internet). I called the Boston store shopping for my first used Mesa-Boogie head waay back then and Hirsch introduced himself as my salesman. I recognized his name and told him I knew his old band, and we hit it off immediately. I bought a TON of gear from Hirsch and he always gave me sweet discounts. Later met him in person during a biz trip to Boston. Small cool world.

I was also at that show in full Gene Simmons makeup and a black cape. There were these two dudes at the end of our row smoking grass. It was a great show. If my memory is correct I think it was in August of ‘79.

Was at this show too. In a bit of more depressing trivia, Judas Priest started opening a few days later.
