ENJOY!

Appalachian State
Tigers come out charged and do damage early, leading 21-3 after the first quarter. Armanti Edwards is stifled by LSU's lightning-quick line all game and is held to 113 yards passing and 28 rushing. 10 Mountaineer points come in the 4th against LSU's backups. Keiland Williams cements himself as RB#1, going for 186 yards on 13 carries with a TD.

-W- 42-23 (1-0, 0-0, #6)

Troy
Troy jumps out to a 17-10 lead, but gives up 28 unanswered in the second half thanks to Keiland Williams' three touchdown runs and Andrew Hatch's steady arm. Harry Coleman gets angry and injures several Trojans.

-W- 38-17 (2-0, 0-0, #5)

North Texas
Trindon Holliday returns the opening kickoff for a TD and LSU never looks back. "Hatch to Byrd" heard all day. Jordan Jefferson looks impressive in clean-up duty.

-W- 51-6 (3-0, 0-0, #5)

Auburn
Auburn's defense forces two key turnovers in the second quarter to take a 13-7 halftime lead. Les Miles goes to Charles Scott (8 carries, 39 yards) several times in the third quarter, including a crucial 4th down conversion on the Auburn 32 that led to a Richard Dickson touchdown, taking a 24-20 lead. Auburn scores quickly to open the fourth quarter, and intercepts Andrew Hatch's next pass. They control the ball for the entire fourth quarter and LSU never gets another scoring chance.

-L- 24-34 (3-1, 0-1, #10)

Mississippi State
Nothing special other than the play of LaFell (8 catches, 152 yards, 2 TD) and Coleman(14 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 INT), both earning SEC player of the week honors at their respective disciplines.

-W- 44-13 (4-1, 1-1, #9)

Florida
Five lead changes, three ties, and a legitimate new Heisman threat make this game an instant classic. Keiland Williams has his national coming out party with 21 carries for 205 yards and 2 TD's in a McFadden-esque performance for LSU. Andrew Hatch plays superbly (14-22, 133 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT). Tim Tebow rushes for over 100 yards, but the rest of Florida's offense is held in relative check. Florida's points come from a few fortunate field position breaks and, them being Florida, the score is tied at 31-31 when the dust clears. Trindon Holliday takes an end-around 18 yards in overtime to score and Hatch sneaks in the 2-point conversion. Tebow wills his way into the endzone, but Beckwith makes a beautiful stop on the 2-point try to seal the game.

-W- 39-37 (OT) (5-1, 2-1, #6)

South Carolina
A defensive struggle for both teams. Andrew Hatch has his worst game of the season, but Miles leaves him in until the end. Sloppy play by both sides, but LSU wins by the brute force of Williams (19 car, 112 yds, 1 TD) and Scott (13 car, 62 yds, 2 TD).

-W- 28-14 (6-1, 3-1, #6)

Georgia
The Heisman hype is swirling around this game with Keiland Williams vs. Knowshon Moreno. It also pits the nation's #1 and #6 teams. Matt Stafford leads a pair of quick scoring drives in the first quarter that leave LSU trailing 10-0. The second quarter brings fireworks as Keiland Williams breaks off a 55-yard touchdown run, followed by a recovered onside kick leading to an 18-yard LaFell touchdown catch. Tiger Stadium is in a frenzy. LSU puts the game away in the early fourth quarter, taking a 35-17 lead by way of a Hatch-Holliday screen pass.

-W- 35-24 (7-1, 4-1, #3)

Tulane
LSU looks dead early, no doubt due to the Georgia game from last week, but recovers in time to take a 24-10 halftime lead. Jordan Jefferson plays most of the second half.

-W- 27-13 (8-1, 4-1, #3)

Alabama
Saban's return to Tiger Stadium starts out as a nightmare for LSU fans, as Alabama scores early and often, leading 14-3 at the end of the first quarter. The LSU defense steps up to dominate the final three quarters, and Keiland Williams shines once again (20 car, 144 yards, 2 TD). Terrance Toliver has a great game, catching two touchdown passes from two different quarterbacks.

-W- 45-28 (9-1, 5-1, #1)

Ole Miss
LSU, as the #1 team in the country, almost blows it against Ole Miss, surrendering 4 turnovers and 11 penalties in a sloppy offensive game. Thankfully the defense, led by Darry Beckwith and Jai Eugene, pull the Tigers through.

-W- 23-20 (10-1, 6-1, #1)

Arkansas
LSU closes the season with a solid win over Arkansas. The Razorbacks never lead and Andrew Hatch sits out the 2nd half. Les Miles, with his first Heisman candidate ever, shamelessly pads Keiland Williams's stats (27 car, 213 yds, 3 TD)

-W- 38-20 (11-1, 7-1, #1)

Georgia, SEC Championship
The epic rematch between the #1 LSU Tigers (11-1) and #3 Georgia Bulldogs (11-1) ends in bitter defeat for LSU. A defensive classic, Georgia's Knowshon Moreno scores the game's only touchdown in the first quarter on a 2-yard rush. Both Andrew Hatch and Matt Stafford look terrible.

-L- 13-9 (11-2, 7-2, #4)

West Virginia, Sugar Bowl
West Virginia comes out swinging at air, throwing all over the field and all into LSU defensive backs' hands. LSU has 5 interceptions and 6 sacks en route to the most convincing bowl win of the season.

-W- 40-17 (12-2, 7-2, #2)
