I use plex, too, but let's be honest about this. It's only free because it's technically theft and we know how to use the technology.
well i consider the RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED inferior product the cable company forced onto me for years by means of a shitty DVR CRIPPLED BY DRM that didn't capture the end of football games, couldn't figure out when to start recording shows that were delayed by something else and quite honestly, had shitty shitty storage space meaning i could only keep a few dozen of my favorites before i had to start making the hard choice of what i had to lose forever my payment for having my own set of movies & tv shows forever controlled by me, for me and only me at any level of quality I desire.
so there's that
if you didn't offer such a shitty product plex wouldn't exist. "life finds a way"
(eta not directed at you bottomland; directed at the shitty cable company)
eta2 i own the original Blade Runner VHS, Director's Cut VHS, LASERDISK (sitting right behind me), DVD Director's Cut, "Limited Edition DVD Collectors Packaging" and HD-DVD.
so frick OFF if i want to download a 4K HDR copy of that movie to play locally. EAT. A. BAG. OF. DICKS. i've paid plenty for one movie.
