I remember hearing that Ray Guy could throw the ball 90 yards. I believe he was a QB at USM. And, I seem to recall the Raiders putting him in to throw the Hail Mary a time or two.

No one likes him but no one threw a 40-60 yard ball on a rope like Aaron Brooks.

On Ray Guy --

Here's a quote from Kenny Stabler on Ray GUy -

"I could throw the ball about 65 yards, but Ray could throw it about 80 or 85," Stabler said.


I've heard Jamarcus say that he can throw the ball about 80-85 yards. So, Ray Guy was apparently up there with Jamarcus.
