For those that don't know, and IIRC, DD's house was messed up and he is living outside of LC right now but driving into town for work until he can get back home. No one helped him do this and he didn't wait for Uncle Sam to save him.

Monday- Thursday in Baton Rouge for work. Home on weekend. Wife slept at the hospital on an air mattress until power returned because I didn’t want her by herself with no electric and the alarm system.

I have zero sympathy for people who can’t figure something out. We didn’t get a hand out.

We paid to evacuate for Delta in Houston.

We back home with electric and internet in LC now.

Just got to figure it out Stout. My work did finally ask me if I needed anything and I just told them “you pay me what you pay me to figure these issues out. Not bring them to you.” 3 weeks later they gave me another hefty 5% raise.
