Has a POTUS debate been canceled in the last 50 years?
I knew Trump didn't want a zoom meeting; but why did the Biden camp refuse to debate in person?

I don’t know why anyone needs joe to show up anyway. He’s campaigning on “elect me (frick around) and find out.”

If I was in the Trump camp, I would set up a stage just like a debate would and do a hour and a half long Q&A (with someone in a moderator chair) giving video taped answers that Biden has given ... like on fracking, on packing the court, etc... then have trump share what that would mean for the country. That way Biden could not lie all night and have a moderator cover for him. Just doing a rally is a waste because the main people watching and listening are already going to vote for him.

The bigger frickery is that Biden's team now wants push the town hall to October 22nd and scrap the 3rd real debate.

Great. DJT shouldn't have to put up with biased moderators. He and Pence will get more mileage out of rallys and having attendees get like-minded supporters out to vote.

It’s so stupid on both people’s parts. Doing it over soon should be fine so long as the Trump campaign has people wherever Biden is to make sure no cheating is happening. They could put plexiglass up like they did at the Pence jHarris debate and that would be fine too. I think neither party wants to have another debate so they’re just throwing fits

I would LOVE for Trump to go ahead and hold the debate with a cardboard cut out of Biden.
Joe Rogan would be a good "moderator"
Maybe, have a team of quick hotshots with indexed tape recording of Joe with his various positions. And play them when the moderator asks Joe a question.

Biden doesn’t want to face Trump again. Everybody with any sense of reality knows this. Kamala was supposed to lock it up and she failed miserably. They’re in trouble and the media is trying to bail them out by quoting the only poll that said The Ho won: CNN.
Biden can’t get 10 people to a rally, but Trump probably broke the record on Rush Limbaugh today for most listeners.

I’m sure Trump wants a do over over his last performance.

Trump should set up a room in the WH and tell Biden this is where the debate will be. If you’re not in attendance, we’ll just have to play your flip flopping videos as your answers.

If you're so afraid of COVID-19 that you can't even be in the same room as someone, 7 yards away with plexiglass between you...you should never be President.
What is Joe going to do, tour in a hamsterball? Get himself a Popemobile?
This is like a boxer saying he's too afraid to get punched. The President meets dozens of people before he even has lunch, maybe more. Imagine having a President that fragile, and how it sets up our enemies to simply get him sick.
Joe needs to sack up and hit that debate stage.
I understand why Trump doesn't want to do a virtual debate. The media already controls the entire narrative, they would absolutely frick Trump in that manner.
But to not debate in person is just a huge red flag that he's a bitch.
