The 308 shoots like a rainbow and is only good for squirrels and maybe rabbits of smaller size, the 6.5 only drops 2” at 950 yards and can take down Cape buffalo with ease.

Cape Buffalo please. I took my last bull elephant at 2 miles with it last year.

.308 is fine. 6.5 is just a better choice.
