I know very little about this Miami RB but does he seem like to be the dude back there with Howard and Breida. Should I just grab Hyde and enjoy his 15+ touches a game for the next few weeks. I need a RB2 desperately, currently working with Dobbins and Fournette along side Kamara.

Gaskin. Dude gets like 80% of the touches in that backfield.

Damn

Apparently someone already has Gaskins in our league.

There’s nothing to worry about with him at this point in the season on the waiver wire. Hyde is a rental at best and Gaskin has no fewer than 13 touches in every game. You can absolutely plug him into your lineup and expect double digits. Don’t overthink it there, he’s coming off 22 carries and the competition in the backfield is poor.

I don't have Gaskin, I already picked him up and dropped him for someone more favorable, like Malcolm Brown.

I just wanted Gyno's opinion. I do have Gesicki and figured he may impart something about Miami's offense overall.

Leagues are won on the backs of #1 Waiver positions. It’s essentially an extra roster spot and You have the whole player pool to chose from. It’s not if a home run add comes across, it’s when. Now maybe you can burn on gaskin and still come back around to the top spot

I’m always interested in long term viability. They traded for Breida and he has been effective running the ball. Will he break a long one, and the post game presser will be “we gotta find more looks for Breida”? They signed Howard, we see him getting the GL touches. What changes if Tua takes over? Game flow, dump off etc. I have some skepticism there long term

Will Breida be as impactful as Gaskin in a PPR?

I've got CEH and Mike Davis, so I'm holding my waiver pick. Hopefully by the time I need someone else I'll be higher on the waiver, because my other choices are Malcolm Brown and Zack Moss.

Be interesting to see who comes out of free agency in the next few weeks.

The value lies in the pass catching. MIA will not be in position to establish the run often and Howard gets the goal line looks. If Breida picks up more looks it’s essentially the case of, if you got 3 guys sharing duties ya got nothing. Personally I’m not relying on anything Dolphins long term
