I heard it and it doesn't explain why pollsters want to be wrong.
See, if they constantly show polls of Trump losing or not performing as well as the GOP thinks, they are hoping it will embolden Dems who didn't previously think they had a shot and demoralize Reps who thought they had it in the bag. The end result is to achieve an outcome in the election that is closer to their polls.
Essentially they are trying to manipulate the outcome through false data.

Hmmm... my informal polls show that most pollsters should win a free helicopter ride.
