3) The Saints killed their mojo this offseason when Malcolm Jenkins and Michael Thomas executed a Black Lives Matter-inspired assassination of Drew Brees’ character.

Brees has never been the most talented NFL QB. His intangibles, particularly his leadership, are what made him great. The guy’s reputation was impeccable.

He was the guy New Orleans and the Saints rallied around. Jenkins and Thomas ruined that when they publicly criticized Brees because Brees had the audacity to defend standing for the national anthem.

Brees is no longer the leader of the Saints, who fell to 1-2 Sunday night. He’s a player on the team. It’s a tragedy what Jenkins and Thomas did to Brees, the NFL’s modern-day Walter Payton.

If the Saints miss the playoffs, blame Jenkins, Thomas and the media race hustlers.

Ah yes, his mojo.

If that shite hadn’t happened, I definitely think Drew would have 2011 arm strength. I also think Michael Thomas wouldn’t have gotten rolled up on and hurt his ankle if none of that happened.

Drew isn’t blameless he is parading around with a rapist and kidnapper on his helmet. Hell even one of the pouncey boys was man enough to answer for and be mad at being tricked into wearing a name.

If Whitlock is right, and I think he is, this will backfore on MT. Sure, he got his money but he's got a pretty big ego too and nobody spends the week talking about receivers who go for 2 catches and 35 yards every week.

The odd thing about last night is that his arm didn't look near as noodley as weeks 1 and 2. That TD pass to ES was a bullet. He just refused to go down field. He'd give it a look, than dump it off the AK, over and over again.

He doesn't trust himself to make the longer throws and that's a big problem.

Brees is the one who kneeled down to this and turned into a little bitch so he's just as guilty.

Bye. frick'em. His legacy got washed out the door this offseason and rightfully so.

Brees looks like a player going through the motions right now. No leadership. No passion. No intensity. Just goes out and tosses 5 yard passes and if they get a first down, then cool. If not, oh well.

He's focused on his future career in broadcasting and it shows.

And you can tell he's in shell shock from this offseason and what went down.

Credit sean payton for letting that happen, he showed Brees where his loyalties lie.

I do and I will.

All politics aside, Brees looks like so uncomfortable and no pocket command. Its so weird to see.

Brees did that himself by refusing to stand up for his convictions and choosing placation over principle. No one believes or respects Brees anymore because they know that he doesn’t respect himself enough to stick to his beliefs nor his fellow players enough to be sincere. He is no longer capable of leadership as he has revealed himself as a man lacking true conviction in the face of adversity, willing to say or do whatever to please others. Those are the aspects of a follower, a cog in the wheel, not a leader of men.

It truly is sad. Drew Brees used to be one of the most respected men in the NFL, and now he has been emasculated. The BLM folks hate him for his initial comments, and the anti-BLM folks don’t respect him for his apology tour.

In his attempt to make everybody happy, he has made everyone hate him.

Brees did need to explain his comments which were definitely bad timing even though nothing wrong with them. He didn’t need to apologize just maybe explain further, at worst apologize for his timing. If MJ, Kamara, and MT were half the men Demario Davis is, and handled the situation like him, this team would have been better off, or the situation would have been better off.

The Blake thing on helmet was just a what in the living frick situation and threw gas on the flames. I think if not for Blake, people could have maybe slowly came back and got over the Brees and his teammates issues.

Brees is the one that tucked his tail, cut it off and then sold himself into BLM slavery against his supposed beliefs.

Thomas and Jenkins are pure garbage for what they did, but if Brees showed any backbone, he’d still be the leader of this team.

So much melting in here

I guarantee you Brees & the Saints performance has way more to do with no mini camp, no preseason than some dumbass controversy that has come and gone. Let it goooo
