I've seen the "money" thing about the school several times. Can someone explain it to me? Most of the kids I know that are there come from upper/middle class families that work for their money.

Drive around the STM parking lot.

Sending a couple kids to STM is going to run you $20k/ year - that’s not happening in middle class families now matter how much we like to act like it is.

Look around the campus - everything about it screams we’ve got more money and not afraid to show it.

I’ve got no problem with any of it, but don’t stick your head in the sand about it either.

Curious if you think that Catholic and St. Joseph's families are all rich folks as well.

I guess I just don't see it. It kinda looks like an old rundown school TBH. They have freakin shoes hanging from the power lines by the stadium and the parking lot is terrible.

I see the rich kids with their Porsches and BMW's, but I also see kids in normal ole HS cars and trucks. My kid drives a 20 year old truck to school with 200k miles on it.

I don't think STM tuition is that much higher than Teurlings/Notre Dame/ CHNI
