When children get chickenpox, it causes the adults around them to reactivate the antibodies and prevents shingles outbreaks. Too bad kids don't get the chickenpox anymore.

This is 100% accurate and what I was told by the dermatologist.

Worked the opposite way for me. I had shingles when I was 7. Never got chicken pox.
