I'm a little offended they are charging so much for this. This should not be a profit-making opportunity for LSU, it should be a fun thing for fans to participate in since they can't attend the game in person. Charging $50 completely blows any goodwill they would have received from this.

It's actually pretty cheap considering the printing costs, logistics, and paying someone to install these. I'm sure it's a break even thing for LSU, not a money making thing.

Donations are way down, and will be for a while. They are desperate.

How do you know what the costs are what their profit margin is? They have to hire people each game to put the cutouts back in storage. So what if it's $50? Don't buy one.

Are you kidding? They desperately need additional revenue because over 70% of "fans" opted out of season tickets. That is a great deal of revenue that is needed to support football and all the other "non-revenue" sports.

I think they should start a campaign to get every Tiger fan to auto donate weekly for each game we watch on TV. If you went to the game you would be spending a bundle on tailgating, concessions, transportation, etc. Why not ACH an amount that you designate weekly ($10 or up) to go to the Special Tradition Fund and get priority points for your donation. An average of $25/family or regular attendee would be $1.25M per week. A big help to fill the budget deficit. Think fans of a reigning undefeated SEC and National Championship team might be willing to give $100 or more to help out the TIgers?
But some people would just rather complain about everything.
