The last time I got them bad I was out of town and went to a local urgent care and asked for a shot. After one quick look by the Dr they quickly obliged and sent me on my way. Itching went away rapidly. I'm too old to fight those damn things so I'll do anything to speed relief up.

bleach bath works also rubbing itchy spots with vinegar We have it in a spray bottle is good temporary itch relief
