OP, Rid a Chigger is your best bet or finger nail polish. You have to cover the spots to kill of them suckers. By scratching, you are spreading the eggs which hatch fast. Reason as to why they spread all over your body even after you are out the woods.

Oh. prays sent and drink many many beers. You going to need it.

I may be wrong but I don’t think that’s true.
According to the interwebs the lesion only forms after the chigger larva has had its meal and dropped off. Larva hatch from eggs in the grass and then latch on to idiots like me

regardless, I’m going to need to be sedated. I’d forgotten how miserable this is.

Not finger nail polish. Use polish remover. Big difference. Also a couple ounces of bleach in the bath water works for me everytime
